From “Me to We:” Being an Effective Team Member

Today, the workplace is a maze of nested teams: cross-functional, in-tact, departmental, project, virtual—and the pressure is on teams to form, perform and re-form at an astonishing rate. Given this proliferation of teams, the time has come to recognize teaming as a discipline: a set of behavioral skills and competencies akin to public speaking, leadership, negotiation, and a host of other human interaction proficiencies. From “Me to We:” Being an Effective Team Member, is a workshop that designed to build the capability to optimize an individual’s performance on a team. This program will benefit anyone participating in a work structure in which there is a shared mission and goals as well as role interdependency.
